Hi all (:
Sarah here, seeing as Chloe updated yesterday I thought it was only fair that I do the same. Without repeating what Chloe said, I'd also like to say last year was a hectic year for me too (with the birth of my baby girl Harper an all ha). Last year was a pretty average year and then the 26th of April came and my beautiful baby girl was born, and from that day on my life changed. So all in all 2012 was definitely the best year of my life so far.
With Harper's christening on the way and Christmas approaching quickly I was so busy. This would be Harper's first Christmas and I wanted everything to be perfect for her. Even though I knew she wouldn't fully understand yet I wanted this day to be so magical for her, after all you only have your first Christmas ONCE! So anyway, Christmas Day came and myself, Harper and John all rushed downstairs to see what Santa had brought for my little petal.
Nanny and grandad came over and we all had the best morning opening presents with Harper and it truly was one of the best memories I will keep with me forever. By the end of the day though it became apparent that even with all the presents Harper had received she seemed more interested in the wrapping paper haha. Even though she didn't understand this year, we had the best day and I loved it. I cannot wait for next Christmas.
With all the hussle and bustle of getting everything ready for Christmas I never even thought of bringing in the new year and all the New Years resolutions that follow, but to be quite honest I have everything I need in my life right now so I didn't feel the need to make any resolutions of course I could say I'd like to be nicer or help the environment more but couldn't we all? And I know that if I did make a resolution I wouldn't stick with it, this year if a time comes and I feel I need to make a change then I will. So 2013 bring it on!
Love from,
Sarah x

2013
Howdy doo dee (:
Chloe here, firstly I would like to start by saying a HUGE sorry that we haven't posted since we started our blog back in November. I honestly don't have a good excuse for this but basically just laziness haha, but having said that we are definitely back and fully committed to getting this blog up and running.
Ok so now that we have that out of the way, I would like to wish you all a belated Happy New Year <3 2012 was a great year for many reasons, I turned 18, my nephew Jack was born along with my Baby cousin Harper, I passed my junior trade and fetac exams for hairdressing and of course starting our blog haha. Although, I wouldn't exactly say 2012 was best year either. The same as any other year 2012 wasn't perfect and it had its ups and downs but I am truly looking forward to seeing what 2013 has in store for me, whether it be good or bad. I don't have any plans for 2013 yet, I'm finishing college this year so that's always scary, I feel like I've just been left out in the big bad world all by myself and have to actually stand on my own two feet for once, but nevertheless I'm just going to take each day as it comes.
So tell me, did you guys enjoy 2012? I'm not one of those "new year, new me" kinda girls (I think it's kinda cringey to be honest) I think if you wanna change or make changes in your life why do you have to wait for a new year, why not make that change now? But as hypocritical as it may sound I do genuinely feel that 2013 may be a good year. I can't wait to go new places, meet new people and just make lots of memories. I don't have any New Years resolutions though, I just feel there's no point in making any as I'm more than likely not going to stick with them. Did you make any New Years resolutions? There is one thing I really want to do this year though, I saw an idea somebody had and
it was to get an empty jar and throughout the year when something good happens write it down and put it in the jar and then at the end of the year look back at all the amazing things that happened to you that year, good idea don't ya think?haha
Ok so I'm going to end this post here before I keep rambling on haha..
Lots of love,
Chloe x
