Chloe here once again, So basically I've been meaning to review these brushes since I've bought them which was, well let's just say a long time ago haha. I'm so angry at myself that I haven't done it yet, so seeing as I posted already this morning and as I'm still sitting down I thought there's no better time like the present so here it is, in all it's glory.
Ok, so before I purchased these brushes I had never even heard of Blank Canvas Cosmetics before. But, as I am a dedicated Youtube beauty guru addict, I one day came upon a channel that I rather liked. Her name is Sinead Cady and her Youtube channel is TheMakeUpChair ( I will leave links below). Now, Sinead says herself that she is obsessed with BCC brushes and uses them all the time! In my opinion Sineads make-up always looks fantastic and I loved her tutorials, so even though I had never heard of BCC before I was willing to try out these brushes. After all she had said they were amazing, so they couldn't end up being that bad right?
Yes! Right I was. They were AMAZING!! I'm the kind of person who loves trying new things and is forever getting bored of the latest trends so I always find myself having to mix it up a little, but I promise you this since buying these brushes I have never looked back or ever looked for an upgrade or replacement. So why should you choose BCC I hear you ask? Well then, let me tell you. They offer you a wide choice of natural and synthetic high end brushes. Their products rival expensive high end brands but their prices are much lower. They add new products each month. They have excellent customer care. They appreciate and listen to you and do their very best to ensure you are 100% satisfied. Their deliveries are quick and easy and the best part is they ship worldwide!
So the first set of brushes I ordered was the "MY FACE AND EYE" 12 piece brush set, which cost 75euro. All of the brushes are handcrafted using the highest quality materials. The set included the following:
001 BC powder Brush
002 BC double ended foundation/concealer Brush
003 Small Duo Fibre Brush
004 Blush Brush
005 Large Precision Concealer Brush
006 Tapered Blending Brush
007 Flat eye shading Brush
008 Small angled shading Brush
009 Precision Pencil Brush
010 Small blending Brush
011 Angled brow/liner Brush
012 Precision eyeliner Brush
F20 Flat Top Kabuki Brush: It can be used for multi purposes, but is ideal for Foundation application, cream powder and liquid products. I found this brush left my foundation looking flawless. You can stipple or buff your foundation onto your face with this brush and you will notice the difference to your application, trust me!
F23 Tapered Top Kabuki Brush: Same as above this brush can be used for multi purposes for face. It is ideal for applying concealer/cream/mineral foundations. Its tapered bristles mean you can apply with great precision. I found this brush moved easy around the contours of my face and was very gentle on my skin.
F16 Large Tapered Brush: This brush is used for your cheeks, face and neck, it is ideal for powder application, contouring, blending and higlighting the face. Best used with powder products.
All three of the brushes above are made from soft high grade natural goat hair.
L29 Lip Definer Brush: As you can probably already note from the name of this brush its purpose is of course for the lips. You can use this to apply lip colour or blend lip liner. It has a firm round shape which means it is great for grabbing colour and applying with precision. Best used with cream or powder products.
E30 Double Ended Brow/Spoolie: This brush is used for your eyes. Ideal for brows and lashes. It may also be used for applying liner to the bottom and top lashes. I love this brush and would 100% recommend it I don't know what my life would be without it!!
The last 2 brushes are made from synthetic fibres.
So there it is, set in stone ( well, internet browsers?) for all to see, I have finally done it. I have finally reviewed these brushes for you after a long time of delaying. I hope you are willing to try out these brushes I promise you will not regret it. They are definitely my favourites along side my MAC and Elf brushes. I again apologise for the crappy photographs my camera is still broken but I assure you it will be fixed very soon.
